Where are you located?

My office is located at 423 W Brooks Rd Medical Lake, WA 99022. I am by appointment only. My office is attached to my house. Please be respectful. The exterior office door and gravel driveway are located on the east (alley) side of the property. Please ring the doorbell to enter directly into the office. There is a sign on that end of the house.

If you need help or have questions please contact me directly via call, text or email to book. (Text is the quickest and preferred form of communication.)

How do I purchase a gift certificate?

Gift certificates can be purchased electronically through my booking website and sent via email. I also offer hard copies. If you would like a physical paper gift certificate please contact me to arrange pickup as my office hours are by appointment only.

Do you take insurance?

I am able to take HSA/FSA payment cards. Otherwise I offer insurance reimbursement. You pay at time of service and then I provide you with documentation to self-submit to your insurance. All companies are different so I suggest calling them before making an appointment.

What are your hours?

I do not work weekends. I do offer flexible weekday appointments including mornings, afternoon and evenings as late as 8 pm Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and some Fridays. I am always accepting new clients. All appointments are first come, first serve.

How often should I be getting a massage?

Great question! I get this one a lot from clients and while there is no standard answer I base my response on two things:

1: Are you getting massage for a specific physical problem/ pain/ injury? Or is your massage for general relaxation/wellness?

For rehabilitation or pain based massage therapy I recommend a more frequent regular schedule (which we will talk more about in an upcoming post). If you are being seen more because "it feels good" or you are in overall good health you can usually let more time pass between sessions.

2: What type of self care routine do you have in place?

If you are looking at massage as a way to bypass doing anything for yourself, think again! Clients who do even simple self care routines such as drinking water, getting enough sleep, exercise and stretching see the benefits of their massage sessions as being greater and lasting longer.

HANDCRAFTED MASSAGE takes the upmost pride in providing massages tailored to each clients' individual needs. I provide this through assessment, experience and listening to your feedback.
